It feels like every morning I wake up wanting to get something done, whether it be cleaning the room or finishing a homework project. I am the world’s biggest procrastinator, with an extremely bad habit of putting things off until they can’t be put off anymore. It leads to a lazy life that always feels mundane and pointless.
I started researching yesterday ways that you can improve the quality of your life and be more productive, and one of the first things I found was that if you make yourself a written, physical to-do list you have a much higher chance of getting things done that need to be done than if you kept it all in your head. Having that paper list in your hand and bear you provides enough of the shame factor that pushes you to not be lazy. I decided that it wouldn’t kill me to write myself a list everyday, so that’s what I’m going to do.
I haven’t even made the list yet but I’ve already done some good work cleaning the bedroom and am plotting out some ideas in my head of a story I want to start (yes, you heard right. Back at writing again, baby!). I already know that I have an exam review for my college algebra class that has to be done by tomorrow morning, so I probably won’t get any Elder Scrolls Online in today.
But hey, at least I’m productive!
On another note, I’m making sure to put BLOG ON CRAPPILE on every single to-do list I make from this point forward. I keep saying I’m going to be on here but lazy-ass me never is. That has to change and pronto…
